Accessing the Data
TILDA provides access to the datasets for research use through pseudonymised publicly accessible dataset files, and through an on-site Hot Desk Facility.
If you are planning to use TILDA data as part of a grant application, please contact the TILDA Research and Development Manager first: Dr Ann Hever (hevera@tcd.ie).
To access the Hot Desk Facility:
Please click here for details on how to access the TILDA Hot Desk Facility.
If the requirements of the TILDA hotdesk do not meet your research needs, please email tilda.hotdesk@tcd.ie to discuss.
To access the public datasets:
The publicly accessible dataset files are hosted by the Irish Social Science Data Archive based in University College Dublin.
Researchers wishing to access the data must complete a request form available on the ISSDA website.
Using the datasets
TILDA have produced a number of videos to provide additional detail on the public datasets with some worked examples on how to use them. Please click below to view these training videos.
