Siobhan Scarlett

Siobhan Scarlett is the Senior Data Manager at TILDA, having previously worked with TILDA as a postdoctoral researcher investigating creative activity and health, and a research assistant analysing the impact of frailty in Ireland.

Siobhan is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Social Work and Social Policy in Trinity College Dublin where she teaches on the application of quantitative statistics using SPSS in the M.Sc of Applied Social Research while also supervising dissertation students in the course.

Siobhan received a B.A. in Sociology and Social Policy from Trinity College, Dublin, in 2011, followed by a M.A. in Addiction Studies in 2012, a M.Sc. in Applied Social Research in 2013, a Postgraduate Certificate in Statistics in 2017.

She completed her PhD in Medical Gerontology in 2021, her studies focusing on sleep habits, cognition and physical health in older adults measured using accelerometry data.
