Mirela Conica
Dr Mirela Conica is a Postdoctoral Researcher at TILDA where she is examining the impact of arts and creative activities on flourishing among an ageing population, in collaboration with Creative Ireland.
Mirela completed her PhD in Developmental Psychology at the School of Psychology, Trinity College Dublin where she examined how aspects of early parent-child interaction and the home early environment relate to later child school readiness and academic performance.
Prior to her PhD, Mirela completed her masters in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology and King’s College London. Her work focused on how maternal and paternal playfulness with infants at three months promote child behavioural development at 12 and 24 months.
