Lucy Doogan Receives Dean’s Award for Professional & Support Staff

TILDA is delighted to share that Lucy Doogan, TILDA HR & Finance Manager, has received a Dean of Health Sciences Award for Professional & Support Staff in the category of Positivity Champion.
Professor Brian O’Connell, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, presented the awards in recognition of the dedicated service and outstanding contributions of professional and support staff across the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Positivity Champion
Lucy was recognised for the exceptional support she provides to researchers, students and staff across TILDA, and for the positive and inclusive working environment she helps create.
The award citation highlighted Lucy’s role as a trusted source of guidance and support for PhD researchers, helping them navigate university systems and processes while ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout their studies.
As HR & Finance Manager, Lucy plays a central role in the day-to-day life of TILDA. She is known for her commitment to staff wellbeing, her ability to bring people together, and her genuine interest in the work and achievements of colleagues across the study.
Lucy was also recognised for fostering a collaborative team culture, from welcoming new staff members and helping them build connections, to organising social and team-building activities that strengthen relationships across TILDA.
