TILDA Shines at the 50 Plus Expo 2025

We recently showcased our research at the 50 Plus Expo 2025 held at the RDS on March 13th and 14th. This annual event, dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults, provided an excellent platform for TILDA to engage directly with the community and highlight our latest findings.

Engaging Booth and Interactive Sessions

TILDA's exhibition stand was a hub of activity throughout the two-day event. Visitors had the opportunity to participate in grip strength tests, offering insights into muscle health and overall well-being. Our research team was on hand to discuss various aspects of ageing, answer questions, and provide health insights based on TILDA's extensive research.

Highlight: Professor Cathal McCrory's Captivating Talk

A standout moment of the expo was the talk by Professor Cathal McCrory, Co-Principal Investigator of TILDA and psychologist specialising in ageing and health. His presentation, titled "How Does the Body Know How Old It Is?", explored the mechanisms our bodies use to track ageing, the factors influencing the ageing process, and the potential to slow down or reverse certain effects. Attendees praised the talk for its depth and accessibility, sparking meaningful conversations about ageing and health.
