Two TILDA staff members have successfully defended their PhD theses.
Deirdre O’Connor presented her research on "Folate and Vitamin B12 in The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing cohort: associations with cognitive function," with external examiners from University College Dublin and University College Cork.

Kevin McCarthy defended his thesis on "Metabolic Syndrome and Accelerated Biological Ageing," evaluated by examiners from St Vincent’s Hospital and University College Cork.
