New Podcast Episode Features TILDA Researcher on Challenges Faced by Older Family Carers

Family Carers Ireland is the national charity supporting over 500,000 family and young carers across the country. These carers provide essential care for loved ones with additional needs, physical or intellectual disabilities, frail older people, those with palliative care needs, and individuals living with chronic illnesses, mental health challenges, or addiction.Dr McGarrigle highlighted the importance of ongoing research, “Understanding the challenges faced by older carers is essential for developing effective support systems.
