New TILDA Infographic to mark World Kidney Day 2023

In honour of World Kidney Day 2023, 9th March, TILDA has released an infographic to highlight some of the key findings from a forthcoming report, in collaboration with the National Renal Office.

The World Kidney Day 2023 theme is "Kidney Health for All - Preparing for the unexpected, supporting the vulnerable".

Using data from TILDA, this is the first to look at both cross-sectional prevalence at two time points and incidence over time in a prospective cohort study representative of the general population aged 50 years and over in Ireland. The National Renal Office will rely on data such as this to aid in planning future healthcare resource demand and allocation for kidney disease services nationally.
