Brendan Ó'Maoiléidigh
Brendan joined the TILDA research team as a Research Assistant in April 2021 and is currently undertaking a PhD at Trinity College Dublin. His doctoral research focuses on geropsychology and health psychology, examining coping styles in older age and how psychological coping strategies influence health and wellbeing as people age. He is supervised by Professor Cathal McCrory.
Prior to joining TILDA, Brendan completed a B.A. in Psychology at the University of Texas at San Antonio before undertaking an M.Sc. in Applied Social Research at Trinity College Dublin. His research interests include psychological ageing, resilience, coping, and the factors that support healthy ageing across the life course.
