TILDA Research Assistant (Research Nurse) x 7 posts

12 months Fixed Term Contract, Full-time, commencing on 1st May 2014

This position will involve working with a team of research nurses in a dedicated health centre, based in Trinity College and also in participants’ own homes. All successful candidates will be given full training in conducting the novel tests. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on the largest study on ageing ever carried out in Ireland. Dynamic, flexible nurses with a strong clinical skill set are invited to apply for this position.

TILDA Research Assistant (Research Nurse) x 2

(1 based in Cork / 1 based in West Midlands)
12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Full-time, commencing on 1st June 2014

This position will involve conducting home based health assessments in TILDA participants’ homes, as well as occasional centre based assessments in the TILDA Health Assessment Centre, Trinity. All successful candidates will be given full training in conducting the novel tests. Training will take place in the TILDA Health Assessment Centre, Trinity. This position provides a unique opportunity to work on the largest study on ageing ever carried out in Ireland. Research Fellow, Labour Economist

Specific Purpose Contract until 1st December 2016

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the TILDA team of economists based at Trinity College Dublin. This post will suit a post-doctoral researcher with five years of experience of working in multi-disciplinary research. We particularly encourage those with a strong interest and experience of research into ageing to apply although we also welcome applicants from other disciplines.

The successful candidate is required to carry out analysis of data arising from The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing. The post-holder will join a vibrant inter-disciplinary team working toward the promotion of successful ageing.

S/he is required to investigate labour market issues such as labour force participation, retirement and lifelong learning; incomes, earnings, pensions and asset holdings; intergenerational transfers; and migration.
