How to Access the TILDA Data
The first wave of data from the project is now available for request via the Irish Social Sciences Data Archive (ISSDA), based at the UCD Geary Institute. Access to the anonymised data set will be granted to bona fide research projects only. The initial release will consist of data from the Computer Aided Personal Interview (CAPI) and self-completion questionnaire (SCQ) administered surveys. Health data will follow in a subsequent release. To access the Anonymised Microdata File (AMF) for Wave 1, please visit the ISSDA website. If you are interested in working with TILDA data, please see the Design Report which outlines TILDA’s key investigation areas and methodology choices, and how these compare to other international longitudinal studies on ageing.
